Mud cooling circulation system - drilling fluid cooling equipment

The long-term drilling process in the oil field will lead to too high temperature in the well. High temperature will reduce the hydration ability of the clay particle surface and the treatment agent, and reduce the thickness of the hydration film. As a result, the protection of the treatment agent molecules on the clay will be greatly reduced, and the water loss of the mud will be increased, and the phenomenon of high temperature curing will occur. So how do high temperature drilling fluids cool down? At present, in high-temperature geothermal Wells and deep drilling, there are three kinds of high-temperature drilling mud cooling methods:

Low temperature solid conduction mud cooling method, natural evaporative mud cooling method, mud cooling circulation system forced cooling.

1. Low temperature solid conduction mud cooling method


The cold solid is put into the mud pool, like ice, and the ice is mainly used to cool the mud through the heat conduction system, which is generally used for the cooling of water-based mud, in the environment where the mud temperature is not high to the surface and the temperature difference between the well and the well is not large.


2. Natural evaporative mud cooling method

Because of the borehole mud to the ground temperature is higher than it is temperature, mud flow along the channel of evaporative cooling and natural cooling, manipulate the presently Tuan adopt extended channel cycle routes, to achieve the purpose of the cooling mud in the inevitable extent. This method is generally used in the drilling mud flow is not large, the mud temperature is not too high (less than 55 "C), and the temperature difference between entering and leaving the well is not large (less than 5°C).


3. Forced cooling of mud cooling circulation system

Mud cooling circulation system is also called mud cooling device, mud cooling tower, mud cooling system, etc. In the middle and high temperature geothermal drilling and deep oil and gas field drilling, when the circulating mud temperature is more than 75° C, drilling mud cooling equipment must be used for timely and rapid cooling and cooling. When the heading mud temperature is high and the temperature difference between entering and leaving the well is too large, a special mud cooling device and mud cooling system are needed to achieve high temperature mud forced cooling. Mud cooling system is a special equipment used to cool the high-temperature mud in the drilling process. It is a relatively efficient and safe mud cooling method at present.

The hot and humid air is discharged from the tank by the fan, and the cooling mud is discharged into the sink.
